The water-repellent effect is decreasing, is my car’s paintwork no longer protected?
Your car gets dirty not only from dust and sand, but also from things such as new asphalt, diesel soot and industrial pollution. This can affect the hydrophobic properties of a coating.
Solution: After washing the car, fill a bucket with clean water, add a generous amount of natural vinegar and wipe the paint with this. Don’t use synthetic vinegar! If you repeat this regularly, the hydrophobic effect will automatically return after a few washes.
